Over the years, I have painted many commissions. These paintings almost always fall within my painting style, though there have been some exceptions. I have a large collection of reference photos, many of which have already informed previous paintings. If there is a particular painting or approach that I have done in the past, it is likely that I have similar reference photos that have yet to be painted.
My other preferred way of creating a commissioned painting is to photograph a place myself. The logistics of this can vary from very easy to less easy. I am happy to discuss the possibilities.
Canvases are built by hand, allowing for any custom size. The price is $2.25 per square inch. This includes the construction of the canvas as well as the consultation(s) to establish the objectives of the painting. In the case where a photo shoot is required to obtain reference images, a separate fee may apply.
I am currently living in Finland and have established safe and reliable methods for transporting my paintings. A packaging and shipping fee may apply.
